Itinerary & Experiences

  1. San Cristobal – El Junco Lagoon
    Begin your journey on San Cristobal Island with a walk through lush highlands to El Junco Lagoon, a striking crater lake offering panoramic island views and frequent sightings of frigate birds.

  2. North Seymour – Santa Cruz (Dragon Hill)
    Explore North Seymour Island, home to thriving colonies of blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, and swallow-tailed gulls. In the afternoon, visit Dragon Hill on Santa Cruz, where Galapagos land iguanas roam among cacti forests and snorkeling reveals colorful marine life.

  3. Isabela – Tintoreras / Sierra Negra Volcano – Arnaldo Tupiza Breeding Center
    Discover Isabela Island at Las Tintoreras, known for its lava formations and abundant wildlife including turtles, penguins, and sea lions. Continue to Sierra Negra Volcano, one of the archipelago’s most active, before visiting the Arnaldo Tupiza Breeding Center dedicated to giant tortoise conservation.

  4. Isabela – Moreno Point – Urbina Bay
    Walk across Moreno Point’s lava trails to hidden lagoons filled with flamingos and penguins, followed by snorkeling or a dinghy ride along the coast. Later, explore Urbina Bay, shaped by volcanic uplift and now home to giant tortoises, land iguanas, and diverse marine life.

  5. Fernandina – Espinosa Point / Isabela – Vicente Roca Point
    Visit Espinosa Point on Fernandina Island, where marine iguanas bask on black lava and snorkelers can observe them feeding underwater. Continue to Vicente Roca Point, a nutrient-rich bay known for seabirds, dolphins, whales, and exceptional snorkeling.

  6. Rabida – Bartholomew Island
    Step ashore on Rabida Island, famous for its red sand beach, sea lion colonies, and birdlife, before hiking Bartholomew Island for iconic views of Pinnacle Rock and snorkeling alongside penguins, rays, and reef sharks.

  7. San Cristobal – Kicker Rock – Witch Hill – Giant Tortoise Reserve
    Cruise past the dramatic volcanic formation of Kicker Rock, then visit Witch Hill for beach walks and snorkeling. In the afternoon, hike through the Giant Tortoise Reserve to observe these iconic creatures in their natural habitat.

    Conclude your expedition with a visit to the San Cristobal Interpretation Center, offering insight into the islands’ natural history and conservation efforts before your transfer to the airport.
